It's the 2008 Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at The Lazy Chameleon. Ugly Christmas Sweater

Find those embarrassing shirts, skirts, sweaters and hats and come on down. There will be prizes for top / worst sweaters and even celebrity judges. And live entertainment will be provided by Controversy, an excellent 7 piece cover band. 70's, 80's and 90's rock and dance music. It will be a fun night! Expectd 400+. Big Party!

Getting in the door at The Lazy Chameleon is $5.

Bring a check made out to Nationwide Children's Hospital and your payment qualifies as a charitable donation. YEA! Bring cash, credit cards and/or checkbooks and get your holiday shopping done too, as we are holding a silent auction focusing on things you can give to those you love. That's right - you get to party and Christmas Shop all in one night. In one place! And don't forget, The Lazy C serves up excellent food as well as drinks, so come for dinner or snacks too.

All cover charge donations benefit the Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation / Rich Brown's fund for Cancer Research.

All Silent Auction proceeds will fund our Dec. 26th "Cancer Can't Stop Christmas!" Children's Celebration for children battling cancer (and their siblings), those whose parent is currently in active treatment and those whose parent has passed in 2008 while in treatment.

Area businesses, i.e. Walmart, Molina Healthcare, Coldwell Banker King Thompson and many others have agreed to match donations collected at the party up to $2,500!

As of Nov. 25, we will be celebrating with 54 children and 18 families!
Our goal: Sponsoring at least 100 children!

COC offers emotional support and financial assistance to families in active treatment for cancer. If you know someone battling, struggling to get by financially, COC is a wonderful resource. 

This year COC will host an amazing event designed to restore hope in the lives of families battling cancer that "Cancer Can't Stop Christmas!" Children's Celebration. The event will take place December 26, 2008 at 6:00 p.m in downtown Columbus.

At the Cancer Can't Stop Christmas! Children's Celebration families attending will be served an amazing dinner and the children will receive presents from their "Cancer Can't Stop Christmas! Wish List.

The children of all families attending have been directly affected by a cancer diagnosed. To receive presents all children are 17 and under and are either in active treatment (or are the sibling), have a parent in active treatment or have had a parent pass in 2008 while in active treatment.
